Dear Daddy

The Plan:

A cute-sy, sentimental, endearing blog about my husband, the super dad of our four children. Plus, lots of adorable pictures of him playing, laughing, hugging, and loving our four children.

Instead:

This Father's day should not go down in the book of memory.

You are alone...still.

You don't have any hot water.

You are alone...still.

You don't have electricity.

You are alone...still.

It's too depressing. I can't go on.

A small tribute to the man of our life (with the limited pictures that I have on Baba and Dedo's computer):

Dear Daddy,

Thank you

for getting this toilet seat off of my noggin'.

Love Johnny.

Thank you

for my cute piggy tails.

Love Ra-Ra

Thank you

for my awesome lungs and big mouth.

Love Brycer.

Thank you

for allowing me to be so ridiculously cute.

Love Molly.

Thank you

for sacrificing your smoker and grill to make room for our toys.

Thank you

for giving up sky diving and your crazy mountain biking stunts.

Most of all

Thank you

for being you.

Happy? Father's day.

Love your smitten family.

p.s. See you SOON!!!!!

I guess I did not realize he was still in Missouri! You guys are tough and it will be all worth it in the long run!

Say it isn't so... Your "tools" didn't make the move with you to Michigan?!? How are you ever going to magnify your BBQ skills? Without water, electricity, etc that's essential for feeding the kiddies...

It's amazing what we sacrifice so that we can be a daddy. Time, sleep, money, our smoker's and grills, etc. I'm sure its aonly a matter of time until my daughter breaks my awesome TV! What's even more amazing is that we do it so willingly. This is only my second Father's Day and already I'm totally in love with the whole thing.

Anyway, with you still on your own and me going to be on my own in about 2 hrs, the offer still stands for you to come sit on my deck, drink root beer, etc, etc.

HOORAY! The Flan Fam reunites after 6 long weeks! Wish you could have been out here partying in the sunshine (rather, rain and clouds)but we still partied! I'm so excited for your new move to Michigan and all the changes that go with it--it will be great--I can feel it!
